How it all started...
West View was organized March 6, 1960 with 92 charter members, meeting in the Highfill Building on the east side of Paragould. Brother Guy Whitney was called to serve as the first pastor. In August 1960, the church moved into new facilities (currently the Gathering Place and children's classrooms) in the current location.
Expanding the vision...
In response to a growing congregation, West View purchased adjoining land and completed a new auditorium (currently the Youth Building) in 1970. The third auditorium was constructed in 1998, and a Multi-Ministry Building followed in 2008.
Where we are headed...
In a changing and growing city, West View serves as an ambassador of the faith to people from all walks of life, exalting the Savior, equipping the saints, and evangelizing the sinner wherever we may find them. We emphasize new members find a place of service because we firmly believe that as long as one unsaved person draws breath, the harvest is still plentiful.
