We're Here For You!
United We Stand: This is the latest album from the United Youth Ministry of Hillsong Church in Austrailia.  Bottom line... it's unbelievable.  The lyrics of these powerful songs are a great way connect with God.  I catch myself lost in worship as I listen to songs like "From the Inside Out" and "Came to My Rescue."  I can't say enought about these guys and their ministry.  I'll definitely be getting their next album.

Passion: Everything Glorious: Rarely does an artist live up to the expectations imposed by critics insisting that each band's subsequent CD release to be better than the previous CD. Yet Passion keeps setting the standard for contemporary, God-saturated worship, and this explosive, powerful new CD raises the bar yet again. The final track, "Our God Reigns," closes with 18,000 students taking over the worship from Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman in a moment that leaves one pondering what it might be like to worship in heaven.

MercyMe: Coming Up to Breathe: Do not pass on this album!  Thirteen out of thirteen songs are off the charts and destined for Dove Awards and possibly a Grammy!  I have to admit that I can be an emotional guy sometimes, but this album had no problems moving me to tears.  Their commitment to the message of Christ is evident in the lyrics.  So long self... I have found somebody else!

Casting Crowns: Lifesong: Mark Hall... what can I say?  They guy can sing, he can write, and he's a Youth Pastor!  That must be why I can't get enough of Casting Crowns.  In their latest album, "Lifesong," the band explores the notion that worship is more than just a song we sing, but a "life-song" we live out.  There are too many awesome tracks on this one to list, but some of my favorites include, "Stainglass Masquerade," "Can Anybody Hear Her?," "Praise You In This Storm," and the title track "Lifesong."  This is only the band's second full length album, but I can already tell you that they're a legend in the making!

United: Look to You: Although this is not the first album produced by the United Youth Ministry of Hillsong Church down under, it was my first exposure to the group.  All I can say is "OUTSTANDING".  There's a DVD combo package that's a MUST.  To watch this group of teenagers worship is amazing.  I catch myself drooling at the mouth for a taste of the phenominal worship taking place on this album.  Joel Houston, who produces the United albums, is grungy and great.  You gotta get it!

David Crowder Band: A Collision: MSN rated DCB the artist of the month in July '06, and they had good reason to saying, "they've single-handedly redefined Conteporary Christian Music."  But DCB is so much more than just good music.  The lyrics provoke thoughts of worship and praise of the Master, and that's what it's all about.  You'll fall in love with "Here is Our King," and "Rescue is Coming" just like I did.

Chris Tomlin: Arriving: Credited with venerable church choruses such as "Forever," "We Fall Down," and "The Wonderful Cross," Tomlin is considered one of this era's top songwriters for the church with five songs in CCLI's Top 60 and four more in the service's Top 500. With millions singing his songs weekly, Chris is recognized as a pivotal voice of today's modern expression of Christian worship.  It's safe to say that Chris Tomlin has arrived!
